Modern Language Center ofrece una amplia variedad de cursos para el desarrollo de discusiones de negocios y presentaciones basadas en temas académicos y administrados por profesionales altamente capacitados.

Estos cursos están diseñados para que el estudiante avanzado presente sus puntos de vista en cada tema cubierto en cada capítulo de un texto universitario o especializado. Cada semana, nuevos objetivos de lectura son acordados y nuevas presentaciones y conversaciones son realizadas bajo objetivos académicos establecidos. De esta manera, el estudiante tiene la oportunidad de mejorar su vocabulario relacionado y mejorar sus expresiones de negocios mientras que estudia acerca de su área específica de negocio.

También provee la oportunidad de una conversación de negocios constante y así practicar y edificar su proficiencia. Algunos de los cursos incluyen: Management, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, y muchos más.

To determine your level:
We use two evaluation procedures to determine the linguistic level of each student. We begin with an online evaluation, followed by a face-to-face interview. Both assessments are then used to determine the starting level for each student.

Objective definition:
In addition to the academic aims established for each level, we determine the individual intentions and motivations for each student or group. This way we can tailor our programs to fit individual or group objectives.

Study Plan:
Each individual receives a Study Plan before the beginning of the training process. This plan includes short, medium and long-term objectives, as well as specific information on the material used, class and instructor information, etc.

Set up groups:
The groups have a maximum of 8 participants. As a result, our students can enjoy the benefits of a personalized learning experience

Teacher match based on:
We use our best abilities to provide our students with the best teacher match for each class depending on particular or group objectives, availability and geographic location.

A series of intensive sessions on specific topics that can be taken as a 3-day intensive workshop or as a 30-hour course. They are focused on particular business areas so that students can build business-specific jargon while making quick progress. Engaging topics, motivating role-plays, and a variety of exercises provide a framework for each specialist subject. They are ideal short courses for professionals who regularly need to use English at work. These courses provide all the language needed to handle the typical scenarios encountered successful business situations.

MLC offers a wide array of business discussions and presentations based on academic topics and administered by highly trained professionals. These courses are designed to have the advanced student present his or her views on each of the topics covered in each chapter of the textbook. Each week new reading objectives are set and new presentations are given and conversations held accordingly. In this way, students have the opportunity to improve related vocabulary and business jargon while studying about their particular area of a business. It also provides students with constant business conversation practice to build their fuency. Some of the business courses may include: Management, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, and more.

Why ‘Totally Intensive? Nearly everyone is familiar with the term ‘crash course’ but at MLC we prefer to avoid this expression. After all, a ‘crash’ seldom leads to a positive outcome. Instead, with Totally Intensive, we focus on intensive English study in a relaxed atmosphere. Language training begins with breakfast around 8 o’clock. This is followed by intensive learning and even during the lunch break there’s no break from learning. You continue to converse in your ‘new’ language. In the afternoon you can watch a short film to unwind (and continue your practice) and then the lessons begin again. This Total Immersion leads to rapid progress. Based on our experience with such courses we can assure you that your learning experience will be a success. Total Immersion lasts for a minimum of seven days.
